I'm not the expert, but here are the things I would consider thinking about;

1) if they are couple toys - I would tend to throw them away, instead of using them with a new partner. Not sure about you, but i think that i wouldn't want to use toys that I know someone else has been using!

2) if they are single toys - then maybe just leave out the one or two of your favourites first - so that he is not overwhelmed.... that way you can guage this reaction. Most guys I have come across love the idea of a woman that knows her body and her wants!!

some guys don't like them, they feel replaced almost. mine however loves them, he like to use them on me, knowing that hes using them on me to get me off, he also likes to watch me use them on myself like his own private show. I would suggest the above, culling of toys that some one may have used. ask him how he feels about toys. if he likes to watch you play with yourself maybe use an egg if you have one, its small enough to not be intimidating, then maybe bring up a fantasy about being DPd, you can use a dildo instead of sharing with another man. let him no nothing could replace the real thing, that he say no after trying it
